Research focuses on multimodal reasoning and efficient inference-time scaling, in collaboration with Apple Inc. Also serving as a Teaching Assistant for CS 115 and CS 230. - Fatima Fellowship Click for more 2024 – 2025Junior Research Fellow[Aug 2024 – Nov 2025] Selected as a Junior Research Fellow under the supervision of Tarek Naous. Conducted multilingual and multicultural red teaming of LLMs to identify vulnerabilities in low-resource languages, and benchmarked models' susceptibility to generating harmful misinformation.
- Singapore Management University Click for more 2024 – 2025Visiting Undergraduate Researcher[Aug 2024 – Feb 2025] Conducted research on formal methods for safe and trustworthy AI systems under the supervision of Prof. Djordje Zikelic. Introduced a novel certificate to verify Linear-Time Temporal Logic (LTL) specifications with probabilistic guarantees, leading to a publication at CAV 2025.
- Gold Medal — National Scientific Olympiad Click for more 2024Ranked 1st in Computer Science / Computer EngineeringAwarded the Gold Medal for achieving 1st place in the 28th Iranian University Scientific Olympiad (Computer Science branch), a national competition where university students from across the country compete in their major fields.
- UT-NLP Lab, University of Tehran Click for more 2023 – 2025Research Assistant[Apr 2023 – Feb 2025] Worked under the supervision of Prof. Yadollah Yaghoobzadeh on natural language processing research. Studied methods to extend LLMs to new languages, designed frameworks for lateral thinking in LLMs, and developed Persian-language benchmarks — resulting in three published papers at COLING, LREC-COLING, and SemEval.
